When Sir Francis Drake landed back in London on the Golden Hinde after his historic voyages in the time of Queen Elizabeth l, he could not have imagined the ship being used for what it is today - an entertainment venue in Southwark! Now nestled in the shadows of Southwark Cathedral, the ship recently was the venue for an enthusiastic crowd of fans old and new, when Broomdasher performed a lively and entertaining evening of traditional songs.

Speaking after the gig, Henrick from the Golden Hinde said; "Thank you for creating a very charming evening of music on our ship. Everyone walked off with great big smiles on their faces"
